★ About Me ★

I'm a wife and mama to two little ones. I left my job as a Social Worker to stay home full-time and it's been a rocky journey. Mothering is the hardest, most rewarding thing I've ever done and I have A LOT to learn. I want to enjoy each moment, not taking anything for granted. It's a life-long journey of learning to live wholeheartedly and connected to the Lord in all of the joy and pain this world has to offer.

This blog started as an avenue to process the death of my twin brother., but who knows what it might morph into over time. I might rant, post pictures, songs, videos, prayers, scripture, etc...whatever I need in the moment. If you happen to stumble upon this page and you're grieving, too, I hope you find comfort in knowing you're not alone.

Our hearts are heavy and light ✝

We are only asked to love, to offer hope to the many hopeless. We don’t get to choose all the endings, but we are asked to play the rescuers. We won’t solve all mysteries and our hearts will certainly break in such a vulnerable life, but it is the best way. We were made to be lovers bold in broken places, pouring ourselves out again and again until we’re called home. - To Write Love on Her Arms
